About the Artist
Aoife Giles is a photographer, filmmaker, community artist and educator living and working in Dublin. Her practice often begins as an investigation of manmade and natural environments and myth. Through her work as an educator and community artist she has worked with groups of all ages to create participatory photography and video projects as well as lecturing in photography and design at third level. She has exhibited in Ireland, Brazil, England, Sweden, and Germany.
